There are a lot of VERY simple, very ordinary things in life which can improve not only one's life quality, but also spiritual situation, GREATLY. However ironically most of these simple things are almost always ignored by everyone. Paying attention to a number of simple, easy to remember and easy to follow concepts can improve your physical and spiritual health so greatly that this may bring about changes to your life in itself.
Below is a list of such simple practical things that you may utilize to improve a lot of things - in order of importance.
This is the single most important thing on this planet for us, who use hominid monkey bodies. (apes from primates to be precise) It is the thing that advanced life currently uses. It is not only the basis of energy generation for your physical body and all its functions, but also it is a metaphor for intelligent infinity sea transmitting you energy, since you are basically living inside a gaseous sea - the atmosphere. You take not only physical energy, but also spiritual energy through oxygen - remember how meditation almost always involves proper breathing.
Lack of oxygen leads to many consequences. Starts from constant tiredness, which can develop into irritation & tension, then to situations for various organs in your body which are the weakest links in your biology. Not to mention the first situation - perpetual physical tiredom - is something which lowers your vital energies, therefore eventually mental and spiritual energies. Some research also show that urban areas with low oxygen concentration have higher cancer rates - which is in line with the effects perpetual lack of oxygen does.
On the other hand, abundant supply of oxygen does the opposite effect : raised physical energy, alertness, good vitals, sharper mind and better thought processes
It takes 7 to 10~ trees to generate oxygen that ONE person needs - with good estimates (best type of trees etc). Which means that our civilization - especially urban areas - are VERY deficient in oxygen. This, you can easily see, and notice even in language/sayings in any culture of the world - like how people "go to countryside to get FRESH air" etc. You can easily guess that concentrated urban areas like big metropolises are even worse in that regard. Not only lack of sufficient trees, but also air pollution. Which further reduces the concentration of oxygen in the air, not to mention inhibits the body in a myriad of other ways.
So there is no way in hell there will be enough oxygen in a city. Even if the city is quite clean in terms of air pollution, even if it is constantly cleaned by breezes (from the sea, plains etc). Not to mention that carbon dioxide is much more dangerous in concentration - 1% in the air makes you drowsy, 2% causes acidic blood and makes you start hyper ventilation, at 3% your breathing doubles, at 5% it becomes quadruple. 5% and above is directly toxic.
And there is nothing in cities to absorb co2. Leaving aside what we breathe out, there are other sources that emit co2 in addition - like combustion technologies, other technologies.
Not a suitable environment for entities using hominoid monkey bodies which evolved in tandem with tight vegetation and forests.
In this light, it becomes curious how the negative segments that hold the power in this planet obsessively pursue destroying all forests, isnt it.
The most drastic, and the most beneficial. Moving to a rural area, which is probably inside or near a forest and away from a city would greatly improve oxygen situation. Not to mention taking you out of the aura and low energy and chaos, and the orangeness of the city environment. The spiritual energy load/drain of orangeness lifting off of you also amplifies the effects of higher oxygen : When you are under less stress, it is easier to breathe and less energy you require. So this results in an amplification of effects of oxygen.
However naturally this may not be an option for many people, due to work, life, family and other obligations and opportunities. In that case if its possible, frequently visiting and staying in such places may also do a good effect. Not only the oxygen concentration in such areas charges up your physiology, but also the relaxed, healthy social atmosphere charges your psychology. Leaving aside one of the most important effects - the high vibration of the area charging up your spirit.
Even if you live inside the city, you can try relocating to an area which has cleaner air, outside the city center. Which would also save you the chaotic energy model in city centers.
You can do many things to improve your oxygen intake inside home. And some are very basic.
First of all, realize that air does not replenish by itself. A room or a house with closed doors and windows, will not magically replenish oxygen inside the house/room. Trying to manage refreshing the air by opening windows/doors occasionally is not a good idea either - not only you cannot know and manage it well, but also air outside does not just say 'hey, let me refresh this house', neither the air inside says 'hey they opened the windows - let me get out'.
There must be a dynamic at play to make the air change. Wind, temperature difference or anything that will effect the movement of the air.
Some houses have air conditioning systems or air duct systems that refresh the air inside the house. Most offices have these too. These are a fairly good solution, but they must be cleaned quite regularly and thoroughly.
If your house or room does not have these, you can try to install a fan to push the air outside or take air inside from outside. To a window, or a wall, or a small water-pipe thick hole drilled into a wall or placed inside a window.
Since taking stale air out is most important, better to make sure something takes the dirty air out. Especially when sleeping : in a room without with a closed window, without air refreshing systems, in room temperature. You breathe air out, and it just stays there in the vicinity of your nose/mouth. Then you breath in a good portion of the air you already breathed out.
A solution for this is to use a small computer fan (12 cm ones are good), with an adjustable adapter. These adapters are commonly found everywhere, especially electronics shops or any massive store that sells chinese products. They are adjustable in voltage, so when you plug it, you can adjust the voltage that it produces. When connected to a computer fan, this allows you to control the speed. To do that, you must cut the two power cords of the computer fan and connect it to proper connections that come out of the adjustable adapter.
The aim of this setup is to place the fan in a place and position from which it will be able to push away the air in front of your nose/mouth, especially when you sleep. However, you must place it so that it will be brushing the air, but not hitting you directly in the face, head or body. The seemingly low speed and power of these fans should not fool you - this is the way massive computer systems and servers are cooled. The constant stream of small amounts of air has a massive cooling effect even when using the very available air in an environment. Good in summer though.
Keeping the adapter in low voltage setting would make the fan work silently to the extent that you can barely hear it. It wouldnt disturb your sleep, and at least help with the air flow INSIDE the room, preventing you from breathing the same air you just used over and over while sleeping.
You will see immediate benefits from this. But make sure not to get sick by letting the fan air hit your head/body/face.
Another solution, which can be coupled by the fan solution, is to use Air Purifiers. Air purifiers are quite advanced these days, and can filter out a lot of the used air in a room. Even if they dont increase the concentration of oxygen, they can make the air much cleaner.
Make sure you get an air purifier with an activated carbon filter, and a hepa filter. Hepa filters are very good in filtering dust and other small particles, whereas activated carbon filters can filter out a good amount of inhibiting gases. ionizer feature is a nice touch, and it would make the room feel fresher if its present.
Watch out for the state of the city/area you are living in. Opening your windows to refresh the air in winter is generally a bad idea if fossil fuels are used in your locale. You may end up getting carbon monoxide and other gases, which are poisonous to body, and even when taken in small doses, they still make huge effect. carbon monoxide for example. For these occasions having an air purifier is very beneficial, from experience.
Even if you cant do any of these, if the air outside is agreeable enough, frequently getting out to a terrace/balcony and breathing for some time will also benefit you greatly - even if you are living in a flat, you can do this if the air outside is agreeable enough.
Nose, mouth, throat, lungs, diaphragm . These are what are used to breathe.
On some of these you have little control, but on some of them you have massive control.
For example, a good number of population is affected by bone deviations in their nose, which may prevent them from breathing properly from their nose. They end up having to use their mouths, but when sleeping you cannot consciously use your mouth to breathe, therefore if you have such a condition your breathing can become very irregular and bad while sleeping. Nose tissue obstructing nose canals may also achieve the same effect.
The solution is to visit a doctor, have them check, test your breathing, and take the operation if they advise one. If you know that you have bone deviation or tissue obstruction, you can directly go to a private practice and get an operation done for this directly in some countries.
The benefits are immense. The results of these operations bring massive changes to life quality of those who had them, which, as you can very well understand, affect their spiritual state too. The operation may be hard - it may involve bone breaking in the case of bone deviations, and you may get heavy sedative shots for a week or so to make up for the pain. But from experience i can testify that its worth it.
Some people's nose tissue is sensitive, and may get swollen or act up if the air is too dry, or too humid. Depending on their sensitivity. For these situations various nose sprays are prescribed if necessary. Or sometimes just getting some water into the nose frequently (in case of dry tissue) may also help.
Having yourself checked in other respects is not a bad idea either - like health of your lungs, throat in respect to breathing. However caution must be exercised in countries like usa, where they have a profit-based health system which is focused on ripping patients off by pushing unnecessary procedures.
Poison. You must quit.
The difference in between life when smoking and life AFTER smoking is indescribable. Leaving aside how well you will be getting your oxygen, you will remember the REAL taste of many foods and real nature of many smells after you quit smoking, if you were a heavy smoker or were smoking for a long time.
Replace it with something else - sunflower seeds, chewing a branch or whatever. But you must quit.
Going vegetarian greatly helps physical, mental and evidently spiritual health. Meat is one of the most difficult materials to digest. Therefore it puts considerable load on your digestive system. On top of that, due to food pyramid, any kind of harmful/poisonous/inhibiting substance piles up in the body as you go higher in the pyramid. Which means you will inevitably take more poisonous materials in by consuming meat. In addition livestock 'industry' is a pretty vile and rabid one, feeding the animals chemicals and effecting other modifications to maximize their profit.
But foremost, and most importantly - consuming the flesh of an animal who was basically massacred for its body, therefore ending its life, is an act which is quite spiritually heavy. It also brings in all the negative energy, sorrow and pain that the act inflicted upon the creature. Which means that you will have to carry the burden which comes as the consequence of this act, as a participant - regardless of what kind of spectacular spirit you are or what kind of services you did to this planet or any other planet. Or your polarity.
There are immediate benefits to going vegetarian. Ranging from better sleep to feeling lighter. Replacement of the diet with a vegetable heavy version will make an extra effect of boosting all the positive benefits.
The effects should show up more or less within a month. "Missing" the meat taste goes away in a few months. After a year, smell of meat may become repulsive.
There are additional effects, however. Being lighter in mind and spirit also means that you wont be able to tolerate people and environments who are on the heavy side of vibrations. You may find these people and environments irritating, and after a point unbearable.
Care must be taken if you have special conditions that require intake of special substances/chemicals. However, there are only a handful of things in meat which cannot be organically acquired from other sources, and for these chemical supplements exist. Still, its best to consult with a doctor or do a research if you have a very specific condition.
Your vegetarian diet should be healthy - supplanting meat with gmo, pesticide or hormone laden produce will not do much good. You should go for organic, uncontaminated produce. This is a bit hard in places like usa where livestock industry gets huge subsidies at the expense of farming. However even in usa various sources to acquire healthier produce exist. But it may still be a challenge.
Also the diet should be varied - there shouldnt be only a few varieties of vegetables in your diet.
You wont have any loss of taste - in fact the taste and its variety should increase with going vegetarian - in the end, most meat is cooked with vegetables or seasonings to differentiate its taste - since they mostly taste the same after all.
